Examining Exercise Programs on Physical Fitness, Depression and Automation of Mashhad Fire and Security Services Personnel

Abstract
The purpose of this study was to investigate the effects of exercise programs on physical fitness, depression and automation among personnel of Mashhad Fire and Safety Organization.
This study was designed as a pre-test and post-test research design so that a control group with The experiment group is considered separately, consisting of 25 individuals from different units of the fire department Head and 21 others fire personnel referred to in the second list have been studied as a control group.
Physical fitness scale including body mass index ( BMI ), cardiopulmonary endurance ( blood pressure and heart rate per minute ), muscle strength ( grip strength ), flexibility ( upper extremity flexion degree or degree Body ) and balance ( the length of time a person can stand ) and depression and autoimmunity have been measured by a number of experts at the Psychological Center for the Measurement of Depression and the modified form of the Lee Scale. The completion of the exercise program has been achieved twice.
Intervention Action: The training program consists of 4 weeks of training to the experimental group followed by a planned 8-week exercise program.
After the intervention , there was a significant improvement in depression, autoimmunity and all fitness measures except for heart rate and flexibility but no significant difference was observed in the experimental group.
Implementation of a proper exercise program can be suggested as one of the ways to maintain and promote the health of firefighting personnel and safety services in Mashhad.
