Designing Ethical Decision-Making Model within IRAN’s Sports Journalists

Abstract
The purpose of this study was a survey on designing ethical decision-making model within IRAN’s sports journalist. For this purpose, Ethical Position in Professional Soccer Questionnaire (EPPSQ) with 15 questions, Dilemmas in Professional Soccer Questionnaire (DPSQ) with 28 questions, were employed and randomly administered to 166 Iranian journalists working in 13 news agencies. The content validity of instrument was confirmed by experts and the internal consistency of the instruments proved in a pilot study. Results showed that ethical ideology and personal factors have significant influences on ethical decision-making variance (P<0.05). Results showed that ethical ideology have significant influences on ethical decision-making variance (P<0.05). On the basis of results, Iranian sport journalists have ethical skepticism that this dubiety with the promotion of relativity in sport, day to day moving to more situationism and less absolutism.
