Identifying and prioritizing the factors affecting the quantitative growth of athletes in land use Khorasan Razavi province

The purpose of this study is to identify and prioritize the factors affecting the quantitative growth of athletes in land use Khorasan Razavi province. The present research is applied and developmental in terms of purpose and qualitative research in terms of method. The statistical population of this study consisted of economic, social, geographical elites and sports experts in the field of sports decision-making and policy-making in Khorasan Razavi province. Data were collected through in-depth interviews and the Delphi method and three panel rounds were used to reach consensus among experts. Using Delphi method, 27 effective factors were identified and prioritized. Top ten factors in order of priority: Increasing the number of sports academies, Creating free sports centers for talented athletes, Surveys of sport fields in urban downtown, suburbs, cities and villages, Appropriate and equitable distribution of sports facilities in the city, suburbs, cities and villages, Payment of monthly stipend to elite athletes, Training of skilled trainers and their proper distribution to different regions, Medical care of elite athletes, plan for progress of elite athletes, Creating supportive rules for scholarships for elite athletes And Duty exemption for elite athletes in Armed Forces. Also factors: Having a proper advertising program in the development of championship sports, The use of sports experts in the scientific development of championship sports, Encourageing the families of sports heroes, Holding continuous competitions in different age categories And Holding sports olympiads of top talents The last five factors formed this priority. It is suggested that the officials should pay attention to these factors for the development of sports in the province.
