Abstract
The main purpose of the present study is to investigate the impact of technophobia on technology adoption with the moderating role of organizational climate at Sport Sciences Research Institute of Iran.
Methods: In this study, the research method is applied in terms of purpose and is based on a descriptive research method. The statistical population of this study is the staff of the Sport Sciences Research Institute of Iran (71 people). Due to the small number of the statistical population, the whole population is considered as the sample of which 69 persons answered the questionnaires at the time of distribution of the questionnaires. To measure the technophobic variables from the Technophobia Questionnaire taken from the articles of Kourkouls et al. (2017) and Khosavon (2015) with 16 items, technology acceptance from the technology acceptance questionnaire drawn from the articles of Khasavon (2015), Theo et al. (2019) and Ibrahim et al. (2017) with 6 items and organizational climate using the organizational questionnaire derived from the articles of Khsavone (2015), Dawson et al. (2008) and Suarez et al. (2013) with 10 items. Cronbach's alpha method was used to check the reliability of the questionnaires. Data analysis was done in two sections: descriptive and inferential statistics. In the descriptive part, demographic information as described and in the inferential statistics part, the research hypotheses were analyzed using PLS software.
Results: The results showed that technophobia has a direct impact on technology adoption and organizational climate has an indirect impact on the relation between Technophobia and technology adoption.
