Can factors related to sport tendency predict the behavioral regulation exercise among adolescent girls?

Abstract
The Self-determination Theory is a macro-theory of human motivation that has a connection with the development and functioning of the personality within social contexts. Different studies have been carried out in the area of physical activity and sport relating gender with the different types of motivation. The purpose of this study is Investigate of the relationship between sport tendency and behavioral regulation exercise among adolescent girls. In order to know which factors of sport tendency can predict the behavioral regulation exercise among adolescent girls.
This research is correlational descriptive-analytic study among 230 female students obtained from 13-18 years old living in East Azerbaijan province for measurement data we used basic psychological needs in sports and behavioral regulation exercise questionnaire-2 (BREQ-2). The Behavioral Regulation in Exercise Questionnaire-2 (BREQ-2) has been used to measure the motivation towards exercise. The questionnaire comprises 19 items relating to five motivation types from the SDT, that is amotivation, external regulation, introjected regulation, identified regulation and intrinsic motivation.
Data analyzed by multiple linear regression with SPSS version 25 in 0.05 level of significant.
The result show that among the factors regulating sport behavior only within intrinsic adjustment factors (p=0.0001) and detected setting (p=0.0001) is a significant relationship with the tendency to exercise as environment factors (p=0.041), culture (p=0.045), health (p=0.026) anticipates an inward setting and due to the tendency to exercise, environment (p=0.0001) and cultural factors (p=0.044) predicted the identified adjustment.
According the results, we can say that the factors related to sports tendency the environment and culture are of paramount importance for adolescent girls to participate in sports.
