Monitoring Ethical Characteristics from the Perspective of Sports Experts in Iran by Means of Grounded Theory

Abstract
Events far from the ethics of sports in Iran since past years have been targeting health, property, national beliefs, religious beliefs, psychology and fair play. The immoralities that no one has spoken exactly about, as well as the right way to educate the various aspects of sports in the country have not been introduced.
The purpose of this study was to determine the Monitoring Ethical Characteristics from the Perspective of Sports Experts in Iran by Means of Grounded Theory.
In-depth interviews were conducted with the Sports Experts of the most important using qualitative content analysis method. The sample size was purposefully selected and finally, 15 qualitative interviews were conducted until theoretical saturation. Subsequently, the research findings were coded through content analysis.
The findings revealed 72 Monitoring Ethical Characteristics from the Perspective of Sports Experts in Iran by Means of Grounded Theory. These indicators were categorized into 8 concepts which Ethical components, Fair Play, Terms and Conditions, Moral atmosphere, Index patterns, social responsibility, Methods and Solutions, and Religious.
Although sport has the potential to play a role in most political, social, economic, cultural, and scientific fields, and in the current world there is little that can be found in such a capacity. This global phenomenon is facing a serious challenge today. A challenge that targets cultural and social values that cannot be easily overcome. This is the loss of the spirit of sport and sporting ethics within the entire sports community, which includes athletes, coaches, referees, spectators and the media and club leaders. The results show that as a result of the increasing emphasis on ethics in athletes, athletes' awareness of ethical behavior is also increasing. They are also trying to identify the ethical dilemmas and determine the proper way to resolve them.
