Abstract
Human foot with its low level plays an important role in balancing the body. Foot flatness causes biomechanical changes and problems during weight bearing. So in this study, has been investigated the prevalence of flexible flat foot in children 3 to 6 years in kindergartens of Tabriz. The research method is descriptive-observational. The statistical population of the study included 8470 children aged 3-6 years in 242 kindergartens in Tabriz's three districts. Based on the Krejcie-Morgan table, a sample of 400 people was selected by random cluster sampling. Electronic height and weight scale and foot scanner were used to collect the data. For data normality, the Kolmogorov-Smirnov test and to test the hypotheses the chi-square test and independent t-test were used. The results showed that 62.8% of the samples had flat foot. There was no significant relationship between children's foot flatness with sex, age, weight, height and BMI.Human foot with its low level plays an important role in balancing the body.
