Abstract
The overall objective of the present study was to investigate the relationship between the variables of contextual barriers and its related factors in the development of sports rights of West Azarbaijan athletic boards. The research method was qualitative and mixed (qualitative-quantitative). The statistical population of this study was experts in the qualitative section. Snowball sampling technique was used for in-depth interviews. In the qualitative part of the present study, Skinner, Edwards and Corbett criteria were used to assess the validity. The statistical population of this study consisted 100 of experts, university professors and heads of sport committees of West Azerbaijan province. Due to the small number of the statistical population, the sample size was estimated using the whole number method. The quantitative part of the researcher-made questionnaire derived from qualitative work was used. Structural validity was also used in the quantitative part of the study to ensure the reliability of the measuring instrument. Content analysis was used to analyze data in qualitative phase. In the qualitative phase, all statistical analyzes were performed using Max QD software. In the quantitative phase, one sample t-test and Friedman test were used to test the research hypotheses, and SPSS software was used to perform the calculations. The results of this study show that the underlying factors are among the main categories of research in the field of sports rights and include two sub-categories of scientific and educational barriers and human resources barriers. The quantitative results showed that there is a difference between the observed value of the underlying barrier variable and its components with the hypothetical value.
