The cyclical ketogenic diet protocol, the first five days of the week, was 20% of the daily calorie intake of protein, 10% carbohydrates and 70% of fat and the last two days, the pattern of food was based on 15% protein, 55% Carbohydrates and 30% fat. Body composition and laboratory blood samples were measured before and after the study. At the end of the study, data were analyzed using t-correlation and covariance statistical methods. After 8 weeks of intervention in the combined practice group, only a significant decrease in the body mass index and total cholesterol in men was observed. In the ketogenic diet group, there was a significant decrease in body mass index, fat percentage, triglyceride and total cholesterol levels. The group also had significantly lower levels of triglyceride compared to the combined exercise group. In the combined exercise group along with the ketogenic diet, there was a significant decrease in body mass index, body fat percentage, triglyceride levels and total cholesterol. Combined exercise group with ketogenic diet showed a significant decrease in body mass index compared to the other two groups. Compared to the combined exercise group, this group significantly lowered triglyceride levels. Also, the combined exercise group with diet as compared to the diet group showed a significant difference in total cholesterol levels in the post-test. Overall, according to the research findings, it can be concluded that the combination exercise and ketogenic diet have an effect It is desirable on the fat and fat composition of the body of overweight men.
