Abstract
Previous research has examined the appropriateness of public places, non-academic sports venues, and the safety of academic sports venues, which were largely inconsistent.
Assessment of the suitability of sports facilities in comparison with the standards of the Engineering Organization for the Use of Disabled at Tehran University
The present study was based on purpose, application, descriptive-analytic nature, and field data collection. The statistical population consisted of 30 sports places that were selected as the statistical sample in total. The checklist was a three-point Likert scale (appropriate, partially appropriate, inappropriate). The content validity of the checklist was confirmed by 10 sport management professors of Iranian universities. The reliability of the checklist was 0.73% by Cronbach's alpha internal consistency. Descriptive statistics (mean, frequency, percentage) and inferential statistics (Kolmogorov-Smirnov test and one-sample t-test) were used to summarize the raw scores and describe the data obtained from the checklist.
The component of signs and signs is somewhat appropriate to the standards, the parking component to the standards is partially appropriate, the component of the lanes to the standards is partially appropriate, the ramp and ramp component to the standards is partially appropriate. Is, the input and output component is somewhat appropriate to the standards, the corridor component to the standards is somewhat appropriate, the cloakroom component to the standards is somewhat appropriate, the bathroom and bathroom component to the standards is somewhat appropriate .
It can be concluded that the University of Tehran has adopted the motto of equality of rights of persons with disabilities and of non-disabled persons in relation to research that has examined these components elsewhere. That may be due to the lack of consultation with the creators of these places when designing and building elite professors and experts at the faculty of Physical Education and Architecture. As a result, students with disabilities can easily use the facilities of Tehran University for leisure activities just like non-disabled students.
