Abstract
Today, overweight and obesity-related illnesses have become one of the major health concerns.
In developed countries today, technological advances and changes in lifestyle and inappropriate dietary patterns lead to obesity and obesity.
Diseases associated with decreased physical activity among young people have caused.
The purpose of the present study was to investigate the effect of rope training and Cumin supplementation on body mass index, body composition, lipid profile and subcutaneous fat percentage in overweight girls aged 19 to 25 years. The Islamic Azad University is Khourasgan Branch, out of which 32 students were selected by simple random sampling.
In this clinical trial study, 32 overweight young girls were selected and randomly divided into four groups of control, exercise, supplement and combination. In each group 8 subjects were selected. The exercise group program consisted of eight weeks of selected rope training. At first, height, weight, body mass index and percentage of subcutaneous fat were measured. Subjects (before and after the test) were fasted between 7.5 and 8.5 in the morning to examine their HDL, LDL, triglyceride and cholesterol levels. Blood sampling was performed before and after eight weeks followed by 10 to 12 hours of fasting overnight.
According to the results of this study, after 8 weeks there was a significant difference in body weight values between the four groups with the control group. There was a significant difference between body mass index and fat distribution pattern in the four groups of rope training, cumin, rope + cumin and control group. However, no significant differences were observed between the three groups in the low-density and high-density lipoproteins, triglycerides and total cholesterol. Significant combination with control group was observed. To analyze the data, analysis of variance was used by t-student statistical method (to compare between 0.05).
According to the findings of the present study, female rope and cumin consumption decreased with increasing BMI / triglycerides and cholesterol / low density lipoproteins play an important role in body weight regulation in overweight girls. And black cumin each has its own significant effects.
