The Role of Leisure Sports Activities On the decrease of the tendency to delinquency and addiction to cyberspace among female students in Yazd city

Abstract
Today, the proper use of leisure time and its constructive role in the physical and psychological health of critical groups in society has become increasingly important. The purpose of the present study was to investigate the role of leisure sports activities on the decrease of the tendency to delinquency and addiction to cyberspace among female students in Yazd city.
The research method is descriptive-correlational that was conducted as a survey and the data were collected by field studies. The statistical population of this study consisted of volunteer female students of Yazd city in 2019. 220 people were selected based on Cochran sample size formula and selected by simple random sampling from statistical population.In order to collect data, Ismaili Sports Leisure Questionnaire (2011), Young Cyber Addiction Questionnaire (1988) and Suleimani and Nayebi Delinquency Questionnaire (2012) were used. The validity and reliability of the questionnaires were assessed and confirmed. Cronbach's alpha for each variable and total was greater than 0.84. Data were analyzed using structural equation, linear regression, Pearson correlation coefficient at the significant level α = 0.05
The results showed that there was a significant inverse relationship between sport leisure time and delinquency rate (B= 1.121, R2= 0.511, r= -0.715, P= 0.0001).There was a significant inverse relationship between sport leisure and addiction to cyberspace (B= 1.210, R2= 0.487, r= -0.698, P= 0.003). So the prediction equations are:
(Sport leisure)Y'=1.121+0.832(reducing delinquency)
(Sport leisure)Y'=1.210+0.721(reduce cyber addiction)
According to the results, it can be said that sport leisure time is an important and effective factor in reducing delinquency and reduce cyber addiction among female students and consequently increasing physical and psychological health.Therefore, it is recommended to do leisure activities.
